Square Roots

We already know that a number multiplied by itself is a square (refer to Squares)
The square root works the other way: where you have the resulting square, and you want to find the number that is multiplied by itself to get the square

Square	32 = 3 × 3 = 9
Square root	√9 = 3
Square root can also be written as	9½ = 3

1.	√4 = 2	22 = 2 × 2 = 4
2.	√9 = 3	32 = 3 × 3 = 9
3.	√16 = 4	42 = 4 × 4 = 16
4.	√25 = 5	52 = 5 × 5 = 25
